Bellevue Badminton Club - Bellevue, Renton, Redmond and Mulkiteo

Compared to the previous clubs, I spent the most time at Bellevue Badminton Club during my 3-year Seattle adventure. Renton was the first high quality badminton club I stepped foot in. There are not lots of differences between the 4 locations. They follow the same layout and setup. The price, however, differs based on location.

Bellevue Badminton Club is one of the biggest clubs in the Washington area. They regularly host open plays, organized mixer, tournaments, youth and adult training. Each location has ~10 or more courts with amble lightings and court space. The floor is not carpeted. Instead, it’s red wooden floor. There’s a yearly membership of ~$33/year. This grants you ability to book court in advance. Prices change depend on location and time. The most expensive time is either weekday after 6PM and weekend before 10PM.

Mulkiteo is the most spacious out of all location. Rumour has it that it was built for professional training. Therefore, it was built with higher standard in mine. The other 3 locations follow the same layout, quality and setup.

BBC is quite strict about court time. They will kick you out if your reservation is over. Since Washington has a huge population of Asian, the courts are usually booked out. So you would need to either book in advance or play during less popular time.

BBC courts are standard without room for complaining (maybe other than the non-carpted floor). Neither is there anything to write home about, which can be said about Seattle.
